Steak Oreganato
serves 4
Ingredients
1 ea top round beef steak (2 1/2 to 3 lbs)
2 T butter
2 T olive oil
1/2 C dry red wine
1/2 t dried oregano
Instructions
Season both sides of the steak, then fry in the butter and olive oil until done. Remove from the pan.
Add the wine and oregano to the pan and reduce.
Plate the steak, dress with the sauce, and serve hot.
